399 Histopathologic characterization of non-treated and treated psoriasis

Psoriasis (PSO) is a chronic inflammatory condition characterized by erythematous plaques. Treatment of this varies from topical treatments to immunotherapies. In the Philippines, most programs that offer immunotherapy require tissue diagnosis. Hence, dermatopathologists have an important role in managing these patients, especially cases where PSO histopathology deviates classic features. This study aims compare difference prevalence (C) and non-classic (NC) features histopathologic between non-treated (NT) treated (T) PSO. retrospective observational design 109 (NT=62,T= 47) 2015-2021. Cases were reviewed two independent blinded dermatopathologists. A 20-item grading criteria consisting both C NC was used assessment. The ratio (p=0.274; CI:-0.169, 0.593) (p=0.456; CI:-0.526, 0.236) did not differ NT (C=78%, NC=27%) T (C=76%, NC=29%) groups. Comparison each feature vary groups as well. sub analysis done for group, which showed also based on treatment duration type treatment. dynamic under microscope.
